Stage at a glance
As a case manager, I want to open a case and see its current stage at a glance so that I don’t have to remember which dashboard a case lives on.
What this enables
Section titled “What this enables”The case detail page leads with a three-node stepper — Eligibility Review → Arbitration → Admin Closure — so the manager’s first glance answers “where is this case?” without scrolling, without filtering, and without opening another dashboard.
See it in the prototype

Why it works this way
Section titled “Why it works this way”The redesign replaces the old triad of separate Cases / Eligibility / Arbitration dashboards. Managers used to bounce between three views to find actionable cases — the unified view collapses that into one workspace, with stage as the orienting cue rather than location.
